Originally from Portland, OR, my family and I have lived in Brookings, OR since 2010. I thrive on gardening, hand crafted cocktails and all things sparkly!
Our family purchased our home “up river” over 10 years ago and we have been reimagining it ever since. After over 20 years of refurbishing and redesigning my own homes (and friends), I started Reimaginings Interior Design in 2019 and returned to school to earn my certifications in Interior Decorating, Home Staging and Color Consulting through QC Design School.
My approach to interior design and decorating is a unique style of blending classics with current to bring a collected, lived-in feel to a space. I take inspiration from a variety of previous decades and genres rather than what’s considered “in” today. There is a distinct line between making a home look like a show room and a show piece!
As every person interprets design differently (and no two needs are the same in how we live), it is of the utmost importance to me to create rooms in which people live comfortably, are able to relax, enjoy their environment and feel satisfied that improvements were completed efficiently, and money spent wisely.
As a Type A personality, the oldest of several children and a previous career of 15+ years in the finance industry, I decided to add Project Management to my design business. Creating and keeping to budgets, along with building trust and direct communication between contractors and clients, is a significant implementation that has already proven to be very rewarding!
